This is marvelously dramatic. I love the black fire. The knight is all but swallowed by it if not for his cape and shield. It's such a great image. And the way that dire cuts across the soaring towers is great. Wonderful composition.

Oh I love simple, heavy, dramatic pieces like this that rely on the understanding of perspective and atmosphere rather than fiddling with details.

This is great. It took me a few seconds to figure out that the black flames were flames, and not some structure in the foreground, but now that I see it, I think it's brilliant. This perspective makes it really interesting.
